Encelium Introduces The Mycon Series Of Lighting Controllers
The Mycon series comprises the Mycon-RS Personal Lighting Controller and the Mycon-RT Time Delay Controller.
The Mycon-RS Personal Lighting Controller is Encelium's lowest cost yet feature-packed lighting controller. Featuring a familiar, "classic" rocker switch look and offering a choice of five colors, it suits every environment while providing personal control capability to maximize energy savings. The Mycon-RS is equally suited for dimming control of private offices and small meeting rooms as it is for on/off switching and override control of open office spaces. A dedicated occupancy sensor interface allows to directly connect a ceiling or wall mounted sensor to the Mycon-RS, thereby eliminating the need for a separate I/O module.
The Mycon-RT Time Delay Controller is suitable for spaces difficult to cover with occupancy sensors, such as mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, server or storage rooms with high shelves or equipment, or where frequency of use does not justify the cost of a dedicated occupancy sensor.
The Mycon-RT provides lighting for a preset amount of time and automatically turns off should the user forget to do so when exiting the space. The user may pre-configure a longer timeout if deemed necessary by pressing the upper button multiple times, each press providing for an additional 10 minutes of lighting (e.g. a single/double/triple press of the upper button provides lighting for 10/20/30 minutes respectively). Thus the Mycon-RT ensures that infrequently used spaces are not lit for excessive periods of time, while providing for the occasional times where lighting is required for a longer duration.
