We are actively seeking to fill the Electronics Engineer role. This is an opportunity for a progressively minded individual to advance the development of cutting edge technology within the energy management sector.  The incumbent will report directly to the R&D Engineering Manager and be responsible for contributing to the Encelium’s lighting control product designs at Encelium’s research and development headquarters in Richmond Hill, Ontario

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on electronic engineer with full life cycle SCADA systems experience
  • Proven experience in digital & analog hardware circuit design, PCB layout and prototyping
  • Design experience - 'Start to finish' product cycle
  • Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems
  • Experience with Assembler and C.   C++ and C# programming a plus
  • Experience with networks and communications
  • Electrical/Electronic engineering degree with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with regulatory approvals (FCC, CSA/UL, CE)
  • Mechanical design experience, in particular (plastic) enclosure design
